Who we are
Pagekade is a trade name of Ascend Consultants, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK 84001313), Mickey Mousestraat 57, 1336 ZG Almere, the Netherlands. We are the controller for the data in this statement, except where we process data for clients as described below. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect and why
- Free website check: the address you type. We read that public homepage once to make your report and do not store the address or the report.
- Free preview request: business name, town, website, your name and email, and what you tell us. We use it to research your business, build your preview and email you. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract. The tick box on the form records that you asked.
- Clients: contact and billing details, agreements and correspondence. Legal basis: the contract and our legal duty to keep records.
- Business research for outreach: we may note public business details (name, address, website, published business contact details) to offer a preview. We do not collect personal email addresses of individuals or scrape personal profiles. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses. You can object and ask us to stop at any time, and we will.
- Website visits: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. Our hosting keeps short technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and block abuse.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will update this statement and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Websites we build and host for clients
For the personal data that a client's website collects (for example booking or contact forms), the client is the controller and we are the processor. We sign a data processing agreement with every client before launch.
Software and AI
We use software, including AI tools, to research public information, write and build sites. A person checks all work. We do not use AI to make decisions about people.
Who we share data with
We do not sell data. We use processors with data protection agreements: Google Workspace (email, and the form that receives preview requests), Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Stripe (payments) and design and AI tools used to build sites. Some process data outside the European Economic Area under safeguards recognised by EU law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. The current list is available on request.
How long we keep data
- Preview requests that do not lead to a project: 12 months at most. Previews themselves: deleted after 30 days.
- Outreach notes for businesses that do not reply: 60 days.
- Invoices and records: 7 years, as Dutch law requires.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection with strict security settings, and only the people who work on your request can see it. If a data breach affects you, we tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object, restrict its use or take it with you. Email [email protected] and we reply within one month, free of charge. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Visitors from the United States and the United Kingdom
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. We honour these requests the same way as above and treat you no differently for asking. UK visitors can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes
We update this statement when our services or the law change, and show the date at the top. For important changes to how we use data you gave us, we tell you by email.
